Shanghai's biggest street-food chains

Shanghai's snack scene isn't only single-shop legends. A handful of homegrown chains — pan-fried buns, guotie, wontons, breakfast buns, and noodles — have hundreds of branches between them, and they are often the most reliable cheap meal within walking distance of wherever you are.
